Delay Reducer for Warcraft III: TFT 1.24E
Allows DR (packet send delay) values between 10ms and 500ms (default is 250).
Includes MouseTrap.
Includes Countdown Modifier.
Windows 7/Vista users make sure you run as Administrator
Known issues with version 2.2.1:
Countdown appears to start at 5, irrelevant of the value set. This is aesthetic only.
This doesnt work in roc t.TTTT
If you can paste the output of the log window, I may look into adding support for RoC.
Just tested this with TFT and the -classic switch and it works perfectly.
Make sure you’re using the correct bang.
The default packaged W3DR.ini will set it to ‘/’ which means you’ll need to type /dr 90 to set DR to 90.
how do i know that my command has gone through???
ye, it doesnt work for me either
WIN7 64bit, i’m already in the built in admin account,
i opened DR 1st, then war3, !dr !cd doesnt work-
The packaged W3DR.ini sets the bang to ‘/’.
Type /dr 90
Change ‘bang=/’ to ‘bang=!’ or delete W3DR.ini if you want to use the exclamation point.
How do you change the bang to ! without deleting W3DR.ini?
Nevermind, seems like just changing the values in the W3DR.ini files works.
does not work for me too. i’m using correct bang, and nothing happens… windows 7 64bit – i guess thats the problem?
it really does not work
can someone give a instrutions on to use this ,……..
cause i don’t understand
All you need to do is start W3DR, start Wc3.
Then when you’re in B.net lobby or ingame/lobby type:
/dr 90
/cd 0
etc.
Readme’s are useful ;).
please tell me how i can use this how do i set the settings i was checking alone as the host in lan so basically what ever value i set in game does it matter for me aswell or only for the other people in my host how i can i said this to 1 ms as i want this to work at my gaming cafe thank you
It doesn’t work for LAN at all, for a couple of reasons. You’re the first person to bring this up (I didn’t think it was necessary feature personally). I will look into LAN support.
This works fine for me and many other people, including under windows 7 x64 (it’s what I use personally).
There are generally two reasons nothing happen:
1. User is using incorrect bang.
2. Because of the poor chat detection method (I used the same method as VT), chat messages will sometimes be missed, you can either lower ‘loop’ setting or pause for a fraction of a second before pressing enter.
If you really are having problems post the output of the [LOG WINDOW], comments saying it doesn’t work are worthless without it or some expanation.
Shit, i reported it does not work, but i needed it for LAN… ;asd
useless for me otherwise :<
Ah =].
Be atleast a couple of days – a week before I crank out another version (NYE and stuff) with LAN support.
does this work on garena?
I believe GArena creates a VPN and users play over LAN, in which case this version does not.
I’m happy to say that 2.3.0 supports LAN DR, find it in the usual place.
